We had a wonderful time, still going through all the photos and the mountain of laundry. More to come!!

South Carolina Here We Come....

Provided we have no catastrophes....we are leaving tomorrow. Not sure how much I will be able to post between now and when we get back. I will leave you with this picture Molly drew of all of us on the beach. Can you guess who is who??

Two Sleeps Until Vacation....

We are heading out on Friday for our annual Kiawah vacation with my parents and brother...we can't wait! I have four books lined up to read, which I have been saving....we'll see how far I get! 17 hours in the car each way should help me make a dent in the pile....

 

 

 

 

Each was a NY Times Bestseller in their hardback version and that's about all I know about each :)

Sean Starts T-Ball!

Seanie started T-Ball last week. He is so EXCITED!! Derk says he needs lots of practice :) Here they are warming up at home.

 

 

 

 

 

Oops!. We hope he always enjoys baseball as much as he does right now!!

Pedicure Anyone???

Molly received a pedicure kit from one of her friends for her birthday. She loves it and now she and Grace are all about nail polish. Here, Molly is giving Sean's best friend Stella the full treatment. The girls have to keep reminding Sean that "boys don't do nail polish"...

My hosta's aren't the only thing loving the wet spring....this is Cesear's Brother Siberian Iris and Helen Elizabeth Oriental poppy. The poppy has taken forever to come into its own but this year I have 9 blooms!

The Intersquad Meet

Molly's swim team kicked off their season last weekend with an intersquad meet. Molly did awesome.  She went off the blocks, did flipturns and a relay like she has been competing all along :) We are so proud!

Interestingly, we learned swim meets are much like gymnastic meets. There is ALOT of waiting time compared to a very small amount of actual performance time. (That is Molly on the right.)

School's Out for Summer!

Just some fun pictures from the last day's dismissal. The girls had their all school picnic/field day on the last day....

 

All the fifth grade girls got together and decided to wear braids...

Molly wasn't too interested in her picture being taken...she was much more worried about her report card! Though, you can't tell by her expression here, she did very well!!

 

I guess little brothers wear blue :)

 

This little guy is ecstatic to have his sisters home with him. Grandma was with us for pickup and we all went for a celebratory lunch at Steak & Shake afterwords. I am so glad we are finished for another year!!

Where's Grace....

Have you noticed Grace has been absent from the blog lately??? It turns out she is suddenly shy of pictures and blog postings!! It's a tween thing I guess! I convinced her to let me take a picture of her new earrings now that she can take out her starters and THIS is all she would let me do...
