A Gear Bike!

Sean's been dying for a gear bike, like his sisters have, ever since he learned how to ride without training wheels. The plan was for him to get a new bike for his birthday in October but REI was having a great sale and Icouldn't resist the sale or giving it to him early!  It's still a little big for him but he doesn't let that slow him down at all!

  

The New Clarinetist

Molly decided to join band this year at school. Her band director offers a summer band program of private lessons to give those who want it a jump start...Molly has LOVED it! She chose the clarinet and seems to be a good fit :)

 

The Puppers at almost Seven Months

Sweet Sandy at almost seven months. She is 11 pounds and we are hoping full grown :) She is still a spitfire but also so sweet and cuddly.

She survived boarding just fine while we were on vacation. If only it had made her more reliable on the house breaking :)

Back from Vacation....

Once again I have been such a bad blogger....we are back from a week in the sun on Kiawah Island. I took 11 photos TOTAL which means I have two decent ones. I am hoping my brother and father will share some of theirs! This is one of the outtakes. I love it though because it makes me laugh.

Its amazing the difference a year makes with this guy. He really "got" boogie boarding this year and wanted to stay at the beach all day, every day. When he wasn't riding his bike on the trails that is. He even went to Camp Kiawah for a half day something the girls never wanted to do.

For the first time, we took all three kids kayaking this year which was the highlight of our trip. Uncle Rich rounded out the tandem kayaks for us. Great fun! We saw several dolphins.

Crazy Busy

I have declared today the busiest day of summer because I don't see how it can get any worse!

4:00pm Pick up Molly at volleyball camp

5:45 Take Sean to his baseball game

6:45 Game over!

And I wonder why my house is a mess and I need to go to the grocery...

Tee Ball!

Sean started tee ball this week and so far he loves it.

However, his favorite thing by far is sliding in the dirt! Good thing I bought him baseball pants :)

I am kind of hoping baseball is Seanie's "thing". We shall see....
 
 

Cute Picture of the Day

Volcano!

Sean has yet to meet a natural disaster he doesn't like. Hurricane, tornado, earthquake,tsunami...they all have been obsessions of his. His current favorite is volcanoes....we have been scouring the library for weeks for different volcano books. So, I was quite please to find him this shirt....

He has stored up quite a few facts on volcanoes. He can tell you about magma and different types of lava....just ask him!
